Fishbourne Literary Festival 2026
Join us for the Fishbourne Literary Festival on Saturday 11th April 2026 at St Peter & St Mary Church and Church Hall. Set in a beautiful village location overlooking Fishbourne Meadows, this event is a vibrant celebration of literature and community.
The 2026 programme features an unmissable line-up, including Patrick Gale in conversation with patron Kate Mosse, alongside Clare Chambers, Lissa Evans, Mike Gayle, Francis Spufford, and Anna Mazzola. To hear these authors, a ticket is required and advanced booking is essential, as previous festivals have frequently sold out. You can book your ticket, or find out more about the festival at the website https://fishbourneliteraryfestival.co.uk/
Entry to the church hall is free and open to all, where visitors can browse the bookshop, explore thousands of titles in the pre-loved book sale, and visit the Literary Café for homemade cakes and lunch. As we celebrate the National Year of Reading, all children who visit the bookshop can take home a free pre-loved book.
All proceeds support the church and Chestnut Tree House children’s hospice.
