I’m new

`Firstly, welcome! We hope that whenever you come to Fishbourne Church you feel comfortable and free to be yourself. God makes everybody welcome, and it’s one of our most important roles as a church family to get to know newcomers and help them find their way.

If you want to speak to the Rector to ask any questions before you come, you can email her at rector@fishbournechurch.uk

Parish Eucharist– our Parish Eucharist is our main service. Jesus taught us that whenever we celebrate Communion he is present with us by his Holy Spirit, and he helps us to offer our prayers to his Father in heaven. When we gather for this sacred worship together we sing hymns, hear Scripture and hear it explained. At the most holy point in the service we offer thanks for God’s extraordinary saving love by making the offering of the Eucharist. This service has special activities for your children to help them make friends, have fun, and learn more about God’s love for them.

Church at 4 – once a month we meet outside and have an informal service. This service is designed for learning to explore and grow as a whole family. We’ll do activities, pray, read the Bible together and ask questions together, and make a prayerful response. Bring a picnic blanket, your questions and your ideas. Whatever stage of the journey you are on, you are welcome.

Home Communions – if you’d love to be coming to Church but aren’t currently well enough, we can arrange for you to be brought Communion at home. If you’re interested in this please contact the pastoral care team (pastoral@fishbournechurch.uk)

People sometimes come to Church (or come back to Church) at challenging times in their life. Perhaps someone is sick, or someone has died. Maybe nothing is quite going right. If you feel like you need some specific support or someone to talk to you can reach out to the Rector or the pastoral care team (rector@fishbournechurch.uk or pastoral@fishbournechurch.uk)

If you have any concerns about the safety and wellbeing of yourself or any other member of the congregation, please be in touch with safeguarding@fishbournechurch.uk
